Avid: disable startup items

Show Avid LaunchAgents:

ls -1 /Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid*
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.ApplicationManager.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.backgroundservicesmanager.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.dmfsupportsvc.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.interplay.dmfservice.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.interplay.editortranscode.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.transcodeserviceworker.plist

Show if they are configured for autostart: (Below, it shows that they have all been disabled already)

sudo echo; for agent in /Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid*; do printf "%-45s : " $(basename $agent); sudo defaults read $agent RunAtLoad; done
com.avid.ApplicationManager.plist : 0
com.avid.backgroundservicesmanager.plist : 0
com.avid.dmfsupportsvc.plist : 0
com.avid.interplay.dmfservice.plist : 0
com.avid.interplay.editortranscode.plist : 0
com.avid.transcodeserviceworker.plist : 0

Disable one of them:

sudo defaults write /Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid.ApplicationManager.plist RunAtLoad -boolean false

Disable them all:

sudo echo; for agent in /Library/LaunchAgents/com.avid*; do sudo defaults write $agent RunAtLoad -boolean false; done

Next time, check if this would also work

cd /Library/LaunchAgents/
sudo launchctl unload -w com.avid.ApplicationManager.plist
sudo launchctl unload -w com.avid.ApplicationManagerHelper.plist
